Strategic Planning Consultant

Devon Teran

Education:

Devon grew up in Wichita Ks, where he saw the power of high quality public education and economic opportunity to transform the story of families over multiple generations. The combination of being the first generation American son of a refugee, having two career educator parents, and attending the urban schools where they worked shaped his personal mission to ensure that all students have access to a high quality, empowering education. Even though he went to the University of Kansas to study Journalism, the call of serving his communities drew him to public education. Through his experiences, he realized that the common foundation of professionalism supporting any great learning experience, classroom, school or even district, is authenticity, empathy, and respect.
