Goldie Blox embarked on a pioneering journey to craft a truly unique Roblox game in collaboration with Wonder Works Studio. The aim? To develop an experience that seamlessly blended entertainment with educational depth suitable for classroom integration. STEM Ed Consulting was enlisted to lend our expertise. Our role? To meticulously assess the scientific accuracy of the game and offer insights on its practical application within educational settings.
Critical thinking and core concepts of chemistry are the keys to solving Chem Lab Escape, a chemistry escape room experience on Roblox. Your students will navigate their way through multiple rooms, each with their own unique and exciting gameplay mechanics designed to support, encourage, and immerse students into Chemistry. Roblox offers a dynamic, multiplayer, interactive platform with engaging and in-depth learning environments for users, and educators. Chem Lab Escape is part of an educational ecosystem on Roblox where opportunities for learning, creativity and imagination are limitless.
Maker High Chem Lab Escape was born!
STEM Ed Consulting had the privilege of contributing to the game design, ensuring scientific accuracy, and taking the lead in developing open educational resources (OER) curriculum materials. These resources are now freely accessible to middle and high school teachers, facilitating NGSS-designed Game-Based Learning in their classrooms.
